Phillip Fazio graduated cum laude from The Boston Conservatory with a BFA in Musical Theatre and Directing. 


Phillip most recently directed the sold out and award winning FringeNYC hit comedy Gay Camp at HERE Mainstage and The Players Theatre.

Phillip was the Assistant Director for the Center Theatre Group/Deaf West revival of Pippin (Directed by Tony Award Nominee Jeff Calhoun) at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. 


Before moving to New York in 2008, Phillip spent three years as an Artist in Residence at Phoenix Theatre. Now in it's 90th season, Phoenix Theatre is the oldest arts organization in the state of Arizona. 

Regional directing credits include  
Ragtime, Proof, Grey Gardens, The Last Five Years, Macbeth, CabaretRent, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, 
West Side Story, Almost Maine, Alice in Wonderland, The Real Life, Leslie and Ben Save the World, and Super Ben!


In 2007, Phillip was invited to be a part of Lincoln Center Theatre’s Directors Lab, a program where up and coming directors get a chance to meet, work with, and receive mentoring from professionals in NYC.
